I thought I was supposed to meet one of our mentors for lunch on Friday, she thought it’s today. Today it is. Since today was a holiday, rode into town with The Cat in the morning. Which meant had some time to “waste” before lunch.
Stopped in at the coffee shop nearby.
Fresh Cafe – Chinatown
Ordered a small coffee and a buttermilk biscuit (sourced from the “legendary” Makiki Bake Shop, known for their biscuits).

The coffee tasted a little “burnt” but the biscuit, good as ever (no additional shmear needed).
Then time for lunch.

The Cat didn’t mind. The Mouse “rebalanced” the taste a little more sugar and a “touch” of Shao Xing wine.
