It’s not in any web searches, at least not the definition I’m using.
Thought I was meeting one of our mentors for lunch today at a “trendy” Chinese noodle house (read higher priced) in an area of Chinatown that’s being “revitalized” by “trendy” bars, bistros, and eateries (both a good and not so good thing). Turns out the meeting is on Monday. Huh?!
Oh well, at least got to eat long noodles at a not so “trendy” but tasty and less pricey Chinese cafe.
Chinese skinny egg noodles. Thin and chewy. The good kind. 🙂
Six won ton, not four (which is not a good number), not five (which is an odd number), but six. Eight would have been nice but I think eight would have been a little over the top. Six, a nice number. 🙂
One order of steamed custard buns.
Why do they remind me of a “non-celebrity” celebrity’s buns. Sorry, washing my brain  out with soap now.
The buns were okay. A little too much coconut flavor (maybe used coconut milk instead of moo milk?) for me.
Even bought a papaya for The Cat from the vendor next door to the noodle house.
Needs a couple of days to ripen.
Having dinner with Aunty M tonight. Maybe another long noodle meal. Tell you about it tomorrow.
Enjoy. Eat well.
