Actually yesterday was a pretty good day … until the power and internet went down. Lunch in Chinatown.
Chinese prepared meat (roast pork, char siu, roast duck, etc.) take-out joint.
Meats on display in the window, cut/chopped to order, pay and go.
They offer “quick lunches”, rice with choice of their meats.
All the essential food groups in one plate, rice, roast pork, char siu, a little choi sum to keep it honest. Done.
Happy mouse.
Dinner on the lighter side.
Leftover braised pork belly, on multi-grain bread, a little squeeze of sriracha mayo, fold over, chomp (think slider/bao bun). 🙂
Happy mouse x2.
Then the lights go out. Pfft.
Enjoy. Eat well.
