Still shopping. Almost done. Forgot to get a Christmas card for The Cat. Aargh! Other than that, I think we’re done.

I’m funny (read weird), ramen shops that offer rice, I’ll take rice 99 percent of the time. Go figure. According to the menu, their rice is cooked in the old school way, over charcoal fire. Okay.

Outside was very good, crispy on one side, inside was okay, too chopped (I prefer chunky).

Christmas card tomorrow, faceplant. Sigh.

Oh, where does the inspired come in? We’re invited to a New Year’s potluck on new year’s eve. I’m thinking of making braised pork belly. Just trying to decide Chinese, Japanese, or Korean.
