Reconnected

Chez Kenzo (1451 South King Street Honolulu, Hawai’i). For a while, was eating there every weekend. Then stopped (because of schedule).

Today, The Cat wanted to take her doctor friend to lunch (The Mouse got to go too). Chez Kenzo was picked (his office is in the same building). Surprisingly, the server remembered me. 🙂

Chicken Yuzu Bao Buns

Have not tried every dish on the menu yet, but so far, still my favorite dish, especially the house-made yuzu pepper sauce (the little dish in middle of the plate). Too bad they don’t bottle the stuff.

Fried Eggplant with Black Bean Ground Pork Sauce

Comes with rice, salad, and miso soup. Good deal.

Pumpkin and Bacon Stir-Fry

Another complete lunch. Bacon, do we need to go any further?

Actually, all three dishes are favorites, with the bao buns leading the pack. So all in all, a good lunch.

As always eating with the doc is always fun, he’s such a character (part painter, part photographer, part comedian, and doctor).
