Not really “manic”, just “stuff”.
Starting with the scone from yesterday.
I swear, it’s the size of a cat’s head. The Cat and The Mouse shared one. one more for tomorrow. Thanks again Aunty M.
Picked up vegetables from the Korean market near The Cat’s office. Nothing too exciting, Japanese eggplant, Japanese cucumber, Harvey-sized carrot (think James Stewart), and turnip greens.
Lunch was from the back of the market, the same kitchen that makes the take-away food sold in the market.
Made to order, not fast food, pork belly cuts, not shoulder, seven bucks, socks off, definitely return. 🙂
The Cat’s new kick is no raw vegetables. Two doctors told her they don’t eat raw vegetables (either too many chemicals or too much bacteria, I forget which). So no smashed cucumbers. What to do, what to do.
When in doubt, the ol’ standby …
In this case, garlic flavor.
Stir-fried cucumber with garlic SPAM cubes, goji berries, ginger, and black sesame seeds. It worked. Hee hee.
Enjoy. Eat well.
The Mouse
