More like an odds and ends post.
From Saint-Germaine bakery. A bread roll stuffed with tuna salad, think if a French pastry chef made a baked manapua.
Stopped on the way to work on Sunday. Think Asian Seven-Eleven. Was my go-to place when traveling in China.
Somehow, the experience was better in China, let me think about why.
Diamond Head Market & Grill. From the clearance section. Not bad, very little gamey taste (a good thing).
On the snack table at work, bite sized, oatmeal cookies, li-hing mui flavored, kinda weird, still ate ’em tho. 🙂
Lastly, my vegetable tonight.
Our power went out in the middle of cooking, originally planned to stir-fry, since couldn’t cook, went to plan B, mixed these onions with apple cider vinegar, salt, and sugar. Actually not bad. Definitely will do this again, maybe the power outage was a positive thing. Hee hee.
Is Wednesday going to be wordless? Probably not, already have something on my mind.
Enjoy. Eat well.
