Almost a year ago (forever in the blog time space continuum), I was lamenting the discontinuance of a a bread product because the name offended a segment of the population (original post here).
A week ago, on the day old shelf, at the Korean supermarket, I bought this.

The bread looks like this.

Lighter in color, texture, and taste than what I was used to to. But, beggars can’t be choosy. Nothing wrong with the quality of the bread, just not what I knew.
Today, at an open market in downtown, one of the vendors was selling this.

Closer to what I knew. Dense, chewy, and a little sweet. Great for SPAM sandwiches. 🙂
I better frequent the vendor bore often before the PC police get after them. 😦
