Very unusual. Normally, The Cat doesn’t get so excited about a place to recommend. Especially with udon noodles (usually The Cat prefers ramen or Chinese noodles). So when The Cat sent this picture and said she recommends, have to pay attention.

Udon noodles in a hot broth topped with “Kitsune-age” (deep-fried tofu skin) from Iyo Udon. I previously tried here but just their tempura and onigiri.

The Cat raved about the tasty broth and the texture of the noodles.

A couple of days later, I went for the full experience.

Noodles in broth, sprinkled with tempura crumbs, green onions, and pickled ginger (the shichimi togarashi is me, from the condiment table). Okay, to put it perspective (mine anyway), the portion was “snack sized”. Had to add on some “supporting” food.

One oyster katsu, soft-boiled egg tempura, inari sushi, and green bean tempura. Noodles were nice, broth  was tasty, the sides were good, except for one thing, I was still hungry after. Maybe because I missed breakfast.

So, if you want, check it out, The Cat likes it. 🙂
