It’s dangerous for me to watch YouTube. Especially the food videos. Saw someone demo a bacon “weave” the other day, much like the “as seen on TV” bacon baskets that’s advertised.
Theory is that instead of dealing with multiple strips of bacon, with the “weave”, the bacon is one piece. Of course, I had to try it.

The weaving is definitely worth getting the fingers a little greasy. Provides a staple bacon “patty” as compared with bacon strips. Whomever posted that video, pretty ingenious.
