While I was working on contract, I tried to bring lunch as much as possible. Except for Fridays. Fridays were plate lunch days. A little treat to celebrate the end of the week (theoretically only since we worked (voluntarily) on Saturdays too). Since last Friday was the end of my contract, this was the last plate lunch connected to me working on the project.
From Carvel Cafe in the Restaurant Row complex. Immediate supervisor picked the spot, she was going to treat us. I politely declined since she already paid for the Japanese lunch (grilled salmon, yum).
Brown rice, house-made patty and gravy, two eggs (easy over), a drizzle of sriracha sauce for effect (my doing), and a little bit of salad to keep it “balanced” (hee hee).
Learned a lot, met new people, developed new skills. Overall, a good experience.
Enjoy. Eat well.
