New Year’s Eve Seoul Food

New year’s eve, neither of us wanted heavy duty partying, looking for comfort food. Upon the recommendation of a Korean banker, we ended up here.

Hard to find. Faces a parking lot, can’t be seen from the street. Here’s the address: 512 Piikoi Street,┬áHonolulu Hawai’i. So authentic, the owner is cleaning turnips outside the kitchen (which by the way was near the entrance).

Ordered two dishes. First a combo.

Comes with mixed rice.

First restaurant where mixed rice is standard, white rice upon request.

Also ordered the stone pot mixed rice.

BiBimBap

Rice, Mixed

By far, one of the best BiBimBap dishes. The rice crisped up perfectly without getting burnt. Ingredients were fresh and tasty (didn’t use too much hot bean paste).

Definitely on the list of restaurants to return to. We want to try their kalbi and fish jun.

A solid four paws. čÖé

Enjoy. Eat well.
