I love gyutan don and duck’s tongue in dim sum but i haven’t tried pig’s tongue. How was your hope, any good?
Very tender. Softer than beef tongue. I like both. Duck’s tongue is least favorite, too many “bones” not enough meat. Thanks
I will try! I swear it!!! Sounds very good.
Thanks! No pressure. You may like it. Good luck!
whats the consistency of pork tongue? I have always wanted to try it, but am worried it would be like pork belly (which I don’t enjoy the soft texture of)
Very tender. Not like pork belly. Smooth. Not sure that makes any sense. 🙂
Hope for the best? You’re too modest 😉
Thanks! 🙂
total yummy… we had some yesterday with sauce-Madère and noodles! 🙂
The smoked one is delicious, too, we serve it “en entrée” with dry white wine…
Bon appétit & cheers! 🙂
