I must be getting better, I’m feeling hungry. My eyes were bigger than my stomach. Tried to down a mini-sized spicy eggplant box lunch.
The regular has always been too much for me to handle (tried it once, fell asleep). The mini-size, one scoop of rice, one scoop of mac salad, and a smaller portion of the entrée was always just right. Until today. I got through all of the eggplant okay, but the gravy, rice, and mac salad was too daunting, got through maybe a third and had to quit.
For dinner, picked up a supermarket salad (I know, but didn’t have the patience to make my own).
Good news is that I got through the salad okay (just the salad, no bread, no dessert, etc.). I took it as a better sign. Hopefully my hunger and appetite improves by Christmas. The Cat is taking some friends out for Christmas brunch and I want my share.
I was thinking, the silver lining in this situation is that I’ve lost enough weight beyond my goal weight so that when I can eat, I can pretty much eat anything I want without guilt and new’s years resolutions to lose weight. Yay! Now if the timing is right.
