The Onigiri Project, Cont’d

They recently opened their Ala Moana location in the food court. There was a lot of food to choose from but I was on an onigiri mission. I purchased two onigiri, one with umeboshi, and one with salted salmon.

Onigiri

The onigiri looked much neater and more atractive wrapped. Because the “filling” is on the outside, when I unwrapped the plastic wrap, they kind of fell apart (especially the salmon). I think if I wasn’t at home, I probably would have lost half of the filling. They tasted good, but the portability factor kind of failed.

I had the onigiri with nattō (for the squeamish, close your eye now).

I’m not sure about the taste but the Spam musubi didn’t look so appealing that I wanted to grab one. I may change my mind later.
