Picked up some Chinese style sliders yesterday. I won’t tell you where from because the place did not average very well on Yelp.com.
Let me preface by saying I don’t mind eating some foods on the cool side. When I was younger and foolish, I used to eat cold pizza and barbecue ribs for breakfast (before dairy products became my kryptonite (sorry TMI).
The sliders were not made to order and were sitting for a bit. Each slider had a good balance of meat and skin. Because the sliders were not made to order, the pork skin and duck skin were not crispy (but I knew that already). Each slider had a good balance of meat and skin with hardly any fat. The prices were on the high side. I thought the sliders were photogenic though. 😉
Overall, not bad, not the greatest, but not bad. It would be easy to justify the purchase of these sliders if each were 50 cents to a dollar cheaper. As it stands, I probably won’t be buying these too often. 😦
Enjoy (or not).
