I was making a doufu run to Mrs. Cheng’s Tofu Factory yesterday (see original post here). Right next door is a plate lunch establishment I’ve read about on other blogs.
Their website is here. At first, I was going to order the seafood gumbo plate but then something else caught my eyes: Okinawan Style Shoyu Pork Belly, Served on a bed of Baby Bok Choy with Ginger Garlic Jus, Choice of White or Brown Rice & Potato Mac or Tossed Salad.
This was very decadent. The pork was not cooked long enough to “melt in your mouth,” but still very good for a plate lunch. Drank lots of green tea afterwards.
Worth a return visit next time I make a doufu run.
