Second half of pictures from The Cat’s trip (there are more pictures but we didn’t want to bore you).
I’ve tried duck tongue before. Lots of cartilage. Not much meat. Guess it’s an acquired taste kind of thing.
Coconut pudding on top (I think).
Oftentimes, the hotels in China (at least the ones we’ve stayed at) includes a buffet breakfast. No continental breakfast, a full on hearty selection (one of the reasons I like going to China).
Not sure if The Cat remembers what kind of tea this was.
There’s supposed be some kind of health benefit in eating this fungus. Another acquired taste. Luckily, I’ve acquired the taste.
Yum! We used to think that Shanghai was the place for shoyu pork. On this last trip, The Cat had shoyu pork at another city. She said one of the best ever! And I wasn’t there. Sob!
I would love to get my paws on a table setting like this. Wow.
Have to stop now, drooling. Hee hee.
Enjoy. Eat well.
