Brought in by a co-worker today.
Filled with pork adobo, not char siu.
Pretty good, not bad. Kinda used pork adobo with rice, an interesting change of pace. Not sure where he picked the manapua up from. Brought in one for each co-worker.
Not to look a gift horse in the mouth, still prefer the char siu manapua from Char Hung Sut. 🙂 Old habits die hard.

A large steamed bao bun filled with pork adobo. Kind of a local thing.
Thoughtful of your coworker to bring one for all of you to share, but I must confess this is not the most appetizing looking creation I’ve ever seen.
Probably have to grow up with this stuff. hee hee
