There were a couple of reasons why it took so long for me to post the previous post. One was the number of pictures and two I was hoping to return soon and combine the pictures.
Today, The Cat celebrated the end of the extended tax season. She wanted a little treat for brunch. After much searching, we decided to go inexpensive today and save up for a pricier dinner later. We returned here. Quality ingredients, quality dishes, opportunity to “consume mass quantities” (relatively speaking).
Like well made movies, the subsequent viewing reveals things that weren’t seen the previous time. I didn’t notice the lighting fixtures the first time.
And the wall hanging.
The previous post, I posted a picture of the little heating stand and the bowl of miso soup, I didn’t post a picture of what the misosoup looked like. My bad.
Lots of seaweed and turnip strips. Yum.
Last week it was grilled mackerel, this week it was deep-fried. I liked this week’s preparation better.
No ararecrusted shrimp tempura this week, fried shrimp instead. Both are good.
Since it was Sunday, the starch was porridge. I choose the multi-grain porridge again.
The Cat wanted a picture of one of her plate selections, she thought she arranged it well. I think she thought food plating can be compared with flower arranging.
We may be becoming semi-regulars to this place, at least for the weekend buffets.
Enjoy.
